Nice poem! is it published in a book or something like that? I guess it's some sort of haiku, sorry for my ignorance... let me know your opinion about some of my poems please:

Love and happiness will be around,
as all the chains will disappear!
And Mountaineers will climb their mount,
and there won't be any tear...
my Tale of The Rock Pieces

Let's watch the moon, let's meet the sun!
let''s hear soon the way the Deed was done!
Let's listen to the sounds the shiny crystals played,
let's welcome crowds of creatures good and great!

Dear Dawn--
Small note on etymology/translation on the Web site title: the word would not be texnikos, but texnos, and the compound translates as "skilled in many arts."

Here from OED for "polytechnic": [< POLY- comb. form + TECHNIC adj., after French polytechnique (in école polytechnique, 1795). Compare Hellenistic Greek πολύτεχνος skilled in many arts; also Italian politecnico (adjective) polytechnic (1796). Compare POLYTECHNICAL adj.] .

I checked Liddell and Scott's Greek-English Lexicon (the big one) and it confirms this.

I work in publishing, and finding tiny errors that don't change a thing is all that keeps me going. Plus I'm Greek, and the translation just sounded wrong.

Love your site! A friend just got a poem published here, which is how I found it.

best,
Maia

Loved the reading... shabtis are an interest of mine, so I was surprised to hear a story about them.

The panel was on myth and religion in comics - a very thoughtful discussion.

Oh, I'm sorry I missed you! I saw and liked your art in the art show... I never get around to *buying* anything from the art show, because I always forget that it ends a full day before the con ends. :(

Hope you liked the reading! (And which panel?)
