Somehow, you wriggle\nout of my grasp and burrow deep\ndeep into the sheets.\n&nbsp;\nThe white cast has left your skin.\nBut you haven\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t grown horns.\nThey say beetle larva gorge on\nmuch sap and rot\nso as to need less food in adulthood.\n&nbsp;\nYou just need to grow those horns\nand you could lift\na thousand times your own weight!\n&nbsp;\nI have to stop\ncounting the years.\n&nbsp;\n\nI keep the light open for you.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anne Carly Abad I should have held back.
