No heroes represent us,<br \/>\nsurvivors of cultural whitewash.<br \/>\nWhere once black slaves feared<br \/>\nthey cannot return home even in death,<br \/>\nyour fear is that we do.<\/p>\n<p>Watchtower crosshairs train us<br \/>\nto swarm your barbed borders<br \/>\nlike refugees, a spectacular wave<br \/>\nof limbs, desperation, teeth and guts<br \/>\npleading amnesty. Why deny us entry?<br \/>\nWe mean no miscegenation,<br \/>\nwe just want our families.<br \/>\nGive us at least our daily brain,<br \/>\nmercy.
