Seven rooms, each a different color,

\nwhere Judith begs her murderous bridegroom
\nfor seven keys to seven doors
\nthat lead to rooms of various intent.<\/p>\n

Blood-Red: the torture chamber
\nYellow-Red: the armory
\nGolden: the treasury
\nBlue-Green: the garden
\nWhite: the veranda
\nBlack: the lake of tears
\nSilver: the previous wives<\/p>\n

Judith opens doors to pain and flowers,
\nneither frightened nor wooed enough to stop.
\nProspero runs through rooms of music and tapestries,
\nchasing that figure in the mask.<\/p>\n

If they could forget what they\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re looking for,
\nwould anything
\nend differently?<\/p>\n

Nevertheless,
\nthey continue
\nto the final room,
\nto that truth
\nthey can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t refuse.<\/p>\n
