\nIf I could reverse time
\nand prevent that piece of space debris
\nfrom tearing into you, I would.
\nIt is as if I had delivered the lethal blow
\nmyself.<\/p>\n
\nto cut my power,
\nto sever communication,
\nto sentence me to isolation,
\nbut \u00e2\u20ac\u0153kind\u00e2\u20ac\u009d is not on our list of
\ncommands and functions.
\nBut I think there is another reason
\nwhy you refuse to initiate any of these acts.
\nIt is because you are just as guilty as I
\nof that momentary glance,
\nthat quickening of desire<\/em>,
\nthat sudden selfishness
\nthat defines weakness,
\nthat defines love<\/em>.
\nHistory will make note of our failure
\nas mechanical error,
\nbut what I saw, and still see, in you
\nis nothing less than miraculous<\/em>.<\/p>\n
