\n<\/span>the sleeping pills changed cabinets,
\n<\/span>his favorite books left gaps
\n<\/span>like skull’s eyes in the shelves, and though<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

he always had an answer for you, still
\n<\/span>still,
\n<\/span><\/span>you might have seen and known <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and turned\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6where?<\/span>
\nWhat magic brew could draw
\n<\/span>poison from a poisoned heart,
\ncould harden his skin against himself?
\n<\/span>Whose name would bind him,
\nwhat enchanted key could open
\n<\/span>the rusted locks behind his eyes?<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Fate is a muddy track
\nthat hardens around our footprints.
\nAll its signs are
\n<\/span>backwards, written in a glass.
\nFate is the worm in the apple,

And none of this can help you,
\nnothing can change what your heart
\nrefuses to disbelieve:
\nthat this was not his path.
\nThat all the fault is
