\neven so everyone came to her to speak to her
\nthe devils came, goblins came, gods and demi-gods came,
\ndemons came, mermaids shed their tails and came
\nin a nutshell
\nall came, from the cesspool of creation to its finest
\nand they all gave her words, always words and
\nnothing but words
\nno soft meaning, no gentle thought
\nshe found that there is nothing but words to dry the ink on a quill
